Hair Loss Prevention TipsAction is always better than reaction and when faced with a problem, taking the initiative of preventive action is a strategy that is well advised. This is true for anything that may be problematic including the elusive subject matter of hair loss prevention. The vast majority of hair loss treatment out there usually promises to regrow hair that has already fallen out. However, by following a few simple steps, one may be able to greatly increase the possibility of keeping one’s hair from ever falling out in the first place. Hair loss is a genetic issue and one’s genetic make up can not be altered although certain modifications can be made to make some of one’s “negative” genetic aspects, well, negligible. That is, if one is genetically predisposed to being overweight, if one eats a proper diet and gets adequate exercise, then one can serious thwart the body’s desire to store fat. How can it store excess calories if it never is given the opportunity of excess calories? Much like the issue of weight loss, hair loss can also be combated although it is a bit harder than losing weight. (That’s an understatement!) Hair loss prevention generally will revolve around avoiding certain practices that can lead to thinning hair. When hair becomes thin, it is brittle and subject to breaking and falling out. Oily shampoos and thick hair dyes have been accused of causing hair brittleness so, if one is worried about hair loss prevention, then curtailing use of these products would be wise. Also, changes to one’s diet may be required in order to take adequate hair loss prevention. For example, a diet that is low in protein intake can lead to hair loss troubles so eating more protein or at least drinking a protein shake is advised as well. Also advised would be taking nutritional supplements that provide minerals and vitamins that are necessary for hair loss prevention such as biotin, B-Complex Vitamins, etc. There are no easy answers to hair loss prevention, but many times minor alterations can take care of a major problem.
